Altecnic Ltd, the UK’s leading supplier of hydronic solutions, and part of the Caleffi Group, hosted a celebration on Tuesday, 15th July 2025, to mark the official opening of its new headquarters, Francesco House. This landmark event welcomed esteemed guests including members of the local community, press, partners, and Altecnic employees to a day of reflection, innovation, and vision for the future.

A Celebration of Growth, Vision and People
The opening ceremony was marked by powerful speeches from Gary Perry, Managing Director of Altecnic, and Marco Caleffi, Owner of Caleffi S.p.A., Altecnic’s parent company. Both leaders spoke passionately about the company’s heritage, commitment to sustainability, employees, and the local community, as well as plans for the future.
A symbolic ribbon-cutting ceremony, led by Agnese Caleffi, daughter of Marco Caleffi, added a personal and memorable touch to the occasion, reinforcing the family values at the heart of the Caleffi Group.
Showcasing a New Chapter
Guests were invited to explore Francesco House through guided tours of the impressive 128,146 sq ft facility, gaining insight into the operations, warehousing, and office spaces designed with both sustainability and employee well-being in mind.
The tours also featured the newly opened Altecnic training facility, which included interactive product displays of a range of core products, such as Thermostatic Radiator Valves (TRVs), Heat Interface Units (HIUs), and Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs). This new facility highlights Altecnic’s commitment to training and levelling-up the industry, further supported by the ever-growing array of CIBSE Accredited CPDs available on the ‘Altecnic Academy’.
Hospitality and Community
Guests were treated to a range of delicious food and refreshments, as they mingled with Altecnic’s leadership team and employees, meeting more of the people behind the brand. The event served not only as a celebration of the new building but also as a powerful reaffirmation of the company’s community ties, partnerships, and employee culture.

Open House Week
Following the grand opening, Altecnic has continued to welcome customers for its Open House Week, offering additional tours and training opportunities throughout the new facility.
Gary Perry, Managing Director at Altecnic, commented, “Francesco House is more than a building; it’s a symbol of our continued growth, innovation, and the strength of our relationships with our partners and the community. This milestone has been made possible through the investment of our parent company, Caleffi S.p.A., whose long-term commitment has positioned Altecnic as an industry leader in the UK.”
“Tuesday’s celebration was a proud milestone and we look forward to building an even stronger future together.”
