Award-winning specialist merchant SIG Roofing has concluded its 2026 Roadshow series, bringing together managers and teams from across the business at three venues: Birmingham on 4 February, Windsor on 10 February, and Waltham Abbey on 12 February.
Each year, the SIG Roofing Roadshow provides a forum for colleagues to reflect on the previous year’s performance, share best practice and align on how to deliver even greater value for customers in the year ahead. This year’s sessions brought together over 300 colleagues under the themes of customer service and togetherness – with a clear focus on making it easier for customers to do business with SIG Roofing.
The team celebrated strong progress in 2025 and continued improvements in customer satisfaction, reflected in their industry-leading Trustpilot score of 4.7. These achievements demonstrate the business’s ongoing commitment to reliability, expertise and service excellence for roofing contractors and trade customers across the UK.
The mornings began with Managing Director Chris Lodge reviewing the business's 2025 performance and outlining how SIG Roofing will continue to strengthen its customer proposition in 2026. Discussions centred on identifying local market opportunities and expanding the product offering, ensuring customers benefit from consistent expertise across every branch.
Branch teams shared practical ideas and case studies designed to support customers more effectively, including expanding solar PV and industrial roofing solutions, investing in training to enhance technical knowledge and the range of value-added tools they have to offer, like their “One Warranty” assurance scheme.
With continuing market and macro headwinds and negativity, it was important to take a moment to have some fun. After lunch, teams took part in a Crystal Maze challenge featuring collaborative tasks designed to reinforce the importance of teamwork in delivering outstanding customer service.
The evening concluded with celebratory awards recognising individuals and branches that have gone above and beyond for customers, alongside a Big Fat Roofing Quiz and an inspiring talk from Gavin Crane, CEO of their charity partner, Band of Builders, who shared highlights of the projects completed in 2025 with support from SIG Roofing through fundraising, material donations and colleague volunteering hours.
Chris Lodge summed up the event: “The SIG Roofing Roadshows are an important annual event for the business. Each roadshow gave the leadership team and branch managers the opportunity to align on our customer-focused vision, share ideas to grow market share, make trading easier and above all reinforce our purpose together beyond the day-to-day tasks.
"Our customers remain at the heart of every decision we make. By investing in our people, our tools and our partnerships, we’re ensuring that roofing contractors across the UK receive the breadth and depth of products, expertise and service they need to succeed. With another successful roadshow series complete, we’re ready to build on this momentum and deliver even greater value in 2026.”
