REDUCING OVERHEATING WITH COOL BREEZE

  • 1 min read

Vectaire’s Cool Breeze and Cool Breeze Plus are designed to mitigate overheating in residential properties during summer months, ensuring a comfortable indoor environment at all times. They meet the standards used in CIBSE TM59 assessments and Approved Document O of the Building Regulations and also use the eco-friendly R290 refrigerant, which is over 225 times more environmentally friendly than R32.

The UK-manufactured system can be floorstanding or wall mounted and integrates with Vectaire’s Maxi (or Maxi Plus) MVHR, offering a compact and energy-efficient approach to indoor temperature regulation.

The self-contained, sealed-for-life system delivers up to 4.1kW (or 4.3kW) total cooling capacity without the need for an external condenser.

Cool Breeze units automatically sense the temperature of both the room and the incoming fresh air via an integral sensor. Heat is removed from the supply air, allowing the MVHR to distribute cooled air throughout the property.

The unit is easy to install with an optional manual override and a very quiet integral condenser.

Vectaire MVHRs ensure good indoor air quality in any domestic environment, helping to control condensation, tackle mould, extract pollutants and replace stale air with fresh. A Cool Breeze system is suitable for use in newbuild and retrofit applications where regulatory compliance and system efficiency are critical.
