Glidevale Protect announces new partnership with RGB Facades

Glidevale Protect has announced a collaborative partnership with RGB Facades, bringing its new range of fire-rated external wall membranes to RGB Facades’ customers.

RGB Facades offers modern rainscreen cladding solutions including brick and stone, metal, decorative panels and glass fibre reinforced concrete. The company's product portfolio comprises different façade products and systems as well as framing and insulation products, with Glidevale Protect being the latest specialist to join forces with the team.

Protect FrameSafe FR, Glidevale Protect’s new Class A2-s1, d0 fire rated external wall membrane, with its Protect FR lap sealing tape is available as a fully fire-tested system, forming part of RGB Facade’s extensive portfolio for the medium and high-rise construction market. It will be joined by the newly launched Protect FrameSafe 5000 FR, which is manufactured with only printed lap lines and no logos. This makes it suitable for open façade cladding applications, while its strong UV stability means it can withstand up to six months' exposure during construction. Protect FrameSafe FR and Protect FrameSafe 5000 FR are designed for use on the external side of the frame to integrate with façade wall structures on low, medium and high rise buildings over 11 or 18m.
