Glidevale Protect announces new collaboration with SBS Cladding

Building products manufacturer Glidevale Protect has established a collaborative partnership with SBS Cladding to bring its high-performance fire-rated external wall membranes to SBS’s portfolio of façade solutions.

SBS Cladding can now offer Glidevale Protect’s Protect FrameSafe FR fire-rated external wall membrane and its unbranded Protect FrameSafe 5000 FR version, which has been designed for open façade cladding applications. Both products are designed to integrate with façade wall structures on low, medium and high risebuildings over 11m or 18m. 

Protect FrameSafe FR is a high-performance, flame-retardant breather membrane that delivers excellent water resistance and vapour permeability. Fully independently fire tested to achieve Class A2-s1, d0 to EN 13501-1, both free hanging material and fixed over A1 and A2 substrates, the membrane supports specifiers and contractors to exceed Building Regulations compliance on buildings where an enhanced reaction to fire performance is required.
