Armacell has introduced its next generation of aerogel insulation products: ArmaGel XGH for high-temperature applications and ArmaGel XGC for cryogenic and dual-temperature applications. These solutions offer thermal protection, excellent workability, space and weight savings and enhanced safety.

ArmaGel XGH, engineered for conditions up to 650°C, offers up to five times better thermal performance compared to traditional insulation materials, the company says, and delivers significant reductions in insulation thickness and weight. The hydrophobic material provides reliable protection against corrosion under insulation, is non-combustible (A2-s1,d0), and is easy to cut and install – minimising labour effort and waste.
ArmaGel XGC, Armacell’s latest innovation in aerogel-based insulation, sets a new benchmark for low- and dual-temperature aerogel insulation. It is compliant with ASTM C1728 Type I and Type IV, Grade 1, Category A, offering superior insulation performance from -196 °C to +250 °C. The hydrophobic insulation with an integrated zero-perm vapour barrier provides high water-vapour resistance, ensuring reliable protection against corrosion under insulation even in the most demanding environments.
